Golden Day

Yesterday I had what I call, "A Golden Day" of parenting. It's the day where for whatever reason, the kids all do as they are told and are cute as hell. Days like these make parenting worth all the struggle. It reminded me that my kids are awesome and smart and funny, it's just that some days they hide all of that behind a wall of whinging and defiance.

I hope that if you have kids, today is your Golden Day. If you don't, I hope for the childless version of that. I've forgotten what that is to be honest. Was there a life before children?

Jumping on the trampoline with my boys in the sunshine (hence the terrible framing and possibly finger).
