Fabulous Friday

I've decided to start a regular post that reflects all the good stuff that's happened over the week. It's going to be word light and photo heavy, the only theme being that it made me smile or got me all excited. I think everyone should get all Oprah now and then and start showing a bit of gratitude. This is my version because frankly, gratitude diaries and lists just seem a bit naff to me. Don't let my opinion stop you though. Go do your thing, write it out, scrapbook it, draw it. Whatever helps you realise that you and your life are awesome.
Bed hair, presents and cheeky climbing baby. Father's Day rocked.

Afternoon at the park with the lads. They're actually starting to play with each other. Well exciting!

New badges for my awesome stone wash denim jacket. Yes! *fistpump*

My little lady and me. It was so warm I even rocked a dress and showed my legs. Haven't done that since 1997.
My homemade scones with vanilla cream were so freaking amazing! *recipe below

Across the Universe theme dress up for Book Week. My kids are just too adorable!

Special Person day at school. Willow brought NanaShez and Nate brought me. We finished our art really quickly so we played Doctors for a while. Them eyes!

CWA scone recipe

3 cups SR Flour
1/2 cup of cream
1 cup of milk

Cut through the dough with a plastic spatula until combined. If you're lucky enough to have one of those amazing kitchen aide things then use that and make me jealous. Flatten dough and cut out scones to your preferred size. I use one of my crystal glasses because after all these years I still haven't bought a scone cutter. Chuck in a hot over, 220-230 degrees for ten minutes. Might be less if you like weeny scones so just check.

Easy!

Have a fabulous Friday y'all!
