Belated Fist Pump Friday

Due to the shittiest internet connection on the planet I was unable to post Fist Pump Friday on, well, Friday. I wrote stuff, I couldn't get photos to link, things went cray cray, I swore, called the internet company lots of unsavoury names and gave up. I managed to get a connection this morning to find only my first sentence was saved.

While I have a working internet connection I'll get to the point. Andre had a call from a Principal. He said he'd get back to us because Andre isn't actually a qualified librarian (where he got that idea from I don't know). Don't like our chances but it was the first time we've been given any indication that he is actually on a list somewhere. Personally, qualification or not, I think Andre would make a rockin high school librarian. The dude loves books and resources and shit and stuff. Born for it.

Willow danced her little heart out last Saturday. That was a highlight of my week. She was freakin' adorable. I'd never seen her so pumped. A couple of years ago she had the worst stage fright at her Christmas concert and ended up crying while performing. Broke my heart. She's come such a long way this year, her confidence is soaring. Love her to bits.

And here's a blurry one of her on stage. I couldn't get a decent photo which sucks because she looked gorgeous in all three of her dances. Alright, enough of the gushing mum thing!

In typical Arlene fashion I cut my own hair again this week. You'd think I'd learn. It needs some serious professional help but I'm too embarrassed to actually go hairdresser and show them my skillz. Or lack thereof.

How did we survive without instagram and filters?

Found a new favourite recipe. Nutella biscuits. If you want a chewy, chocolately mouthgasm, give these a try. Don't know if they're all that good for you but Nutella is low GI right? Gotta count for something.

Warning: They won't last.

Only 4 ingredients. No excuses, do it!

1 cup plain flour
1 cup of nutella
1/2 cup of sugar
1 egg

Mix it, roll into balls. Flatten those balls and bake for 12 minutes at 180 degrees C. The only way it could be easier is if it cooked itself.
